There won't be much color on my blog today.
Black and White is the Blog Hop theme.
Have you been following along from the posts on Monday?
The projects are GREAT! Such VARIETY!
Carla who blogs at Creatin' in the Sticks
put together a fun blog hop.
Thanks, Carla, for all your work and organizing.
Here is my completed quilt!
And what better place to take this photo than in the snow we got this past Saturday!
I used a very busy fabric for the backing.
I posted about my fabric stash and using the Accuquilt Go! to cut the triangles HERE.
I liked cutting the triangles so quickly.
I quilted it on my sewing machine using the walking foot.
I find that the easiest for me.
I am glad you stopped and hope you visit the other bloggers' posts today.
Perhaps you will find an idea to use black and white fabrics in a quilt very soon.
There is a Pinterest page for the Black & White Blog Hop HERE
where you can see all the projects (posted so far) and very few words.

This is beautiful! I love all the triangles and I agree that the Accuquilt makes them so easy to cut. It looks so pretty on the snow!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt, it is striking with the strict color scheme!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous, Nancy. I love the "staggered" borders like that. You did a beautiful job with your black and whites.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt has so much movement and I love your black and white placement. I just received an Accuquilt and can't wait to try it. Your triangles really inspire me to break out the cutter and try it. Thank you for joining the B&W blog hop, Nancy. Your snow pictures add just the right amount of sparkle.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is lovely. The snow is a perfect backdrop. Thanks for sharing and inspiring today. Stay warm. quilting dash lady at Comcast dot net

ReplyDeleteThis quilt is beautiful! I'm happy to see that I am not the only person with a Black and White fabric stash. I love the fabrics, but just kept collecting them until I found just the right project in which to use them. Your design is beautiful and the quilt looks great in the newly fallen snow. Thanks for sharing! :-)

ReplyDeleteVery pretty quilt. I like the way the black and white sashings are arranged to make your eye follow diagonally along. I've never cut triangles on my Go Baby--guess I should try that, if a die will fit that small machine. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is wonderful. Nice finish.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeleteNancy, your quilt is gorgeous, and so easily cut out with an AccuQuilt die to bust the stash. Love your pictures with the snowy backdrop - perfect setting for an outstanding quilt!
