During the last month I have been working on a number of things. I finished my daughter's Halloween costume. 
I watched a video on a woven quilting technique on the QNN website. I tried it and designed an elegant potholder. I will be teaching a class on December 10 on how to make one. I went to the chestnut grove and picked chestnuts. I have never eaten chestnuts before and I will say they are not bad. It is a bit of a process to get them out of the shell and ready to eat, but it was fun and a great learning experience.

They loooove chestnuts here in Taiwan! They are sold on the streets, roasted and everything. I can't say I hate them, but I don't know if they are my favorite... Haha
I have acquired a taste for chestnuts, since I am the only one in the house who will eat them. I have some photos on my cell phone that I will have to post showing the pods they grow in, that one does NOT want to touch when picking up the chestnuts from the ground!
