Today I am a guest blogger at at A Quilting Queen Online.
Doris, a fellow blogger and quilt designer, is opening a retreat facility in Texas.
She is taking a bit of a break right now and asked for guest bloggers.
I answered the call and thought I would write a post about retreats.
Visit her site and read my post about quilt retreats.
HERE is a previous post about a retreat I attended this past fall.

Never attended a retreat- it's on my 'bucket list' though!
I haven't been to a retreat but it sounds wonderful! The closest I have come was attending an out of town quilt show for a few days with friends. We took classes as well as seeing the show and doing some shopping. Such fun!
I will be attending my first quilt retreat this summer! Looking forward to meeting other quilters.

My time will come for a retreat and I'll be asking you for a suggestion for which one is the most fun. I'm praying for Doris that this is really successful for her and her family. You did a great job as guest blogger for her.
Blessing and Hugs

My first retreat is going to be this fall so I really enjoyed your post.
I attended a one-day quilt retreat once and it was a blast. It is great to spend time with fellow quilters to share ideas and do some show and tell. Sadly there are not of local retreats...airfare, driving distances and hotel costs make retreats hard to attend.
I have never gone to any type of retreat!
I have never attended a Retreat...but know it would be an AWESOME experience! :)
Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too! :D
I have not been to a quilt retreat, but Asilomar, Calif.is on my list! I live in Southern California so it just might happen!
I have not attended one yet but hope to within the next year. natalie.k711(at)gmail(dot)com
I have gone to retreats in the past but the older I get the harder it is to drag all that stuff. I really like my own bed, yet I enjoy learning new things and meeting new people.
Trina, Thank you for visiting and commenting. Perhaps one day soon, you will get a chance at a retreat.
Thank you for visiting and commenting. I think Asilomar would be such a great and interesting place for a retreat. I have heard Alex Anderson talk of it many times. I hope you get to go.
