My Winter Blues project is the table runner, shown above.
I made it with some of this beautiful blue snowflake border print fabric I bought a few years ago.
A table runner using
mitering 60-degree triangles from the border print
was always the plan.
I searched on YouTube to find a tutorial using the words:
"border print table runner 60 degree triangle".
I found many choices.
Here are a few of tutorials I liked:
My table runner was completed in a day.
I suggest you use pins to match any lines on the miters.
Be sure not to stretch the bias edges as you sew.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope the blog hop has wiped away any winter blues you might have had.

Very nice tablerunner. So pretty and blue! Enjoy your day!! :-) :-)
I very much like this runner. That was perfect fabric to use with angles like these. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the inspiration. I have so many striped fabrics that I could use to make one of these.
Beautiful, and thanks for the links. I miss a list of the other participant today.
You used the perfect fabric for that beautiful table runner!
Lovely winter table runner. Thanks for sharing the links of ideas.
Good Morning Nancy! I've been playing around with 60 degree triangles as well. This is a lovely table runner and the layout with the border fabric is so darn cool. I have some border fabric similar but not in a winter-theme. You are definitely inspiring me to finally use it up and replicate your wonderful example. Thank you for the inspiration! ~smile~ Roseanne
What this hop has done for me is added way too many ideas to my every growing must do list. As for your tablerunner, it is wonderful. I've done a table topper in 60 degree pieces which gave me the center of your piece but a full runner is so much cooler. Yep you have inspired me.
This blog hop has sure provided a wealth of blue projects for me, blue is my favorite color. Thanks so much for the inspiration, your table runner is beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous!
You've used that lovely fabric most effectively. I love 60 deg triangles and the way you've laid them out is so interesting and unique.
It's so much fun to see what border prints can reveal! Thanks for the links for the videos too. Something new to play with! :-)
Oh, what a beautiful table runner! I love how you did the hexie design and your quilting reinforces the shape so well!
The winter blues have definitely lifted after seeing yours and all the other projects. I recently bought a 60 degree ruler to make a one block wonder so I was pleased to see all the links so I can utilize the ruler more. Great runner.
Great table runner! Thanks for the inspiration & helpful links to create such a project. Off to do a bit of research as there are definitely border prints in my stash!
